Our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit produces electrical power from a generator driven by our MarathonTM long-life engine. With our patented power modulation feature, the ecopower always produces the correct amount of hot water/heat and electricity needed for on-site use. In addition, any electricity not consumed can be sent back to the utility (grid) with the home owner given credit depending upon the local rate structure.
